This week the TNT Whelen Modified Tour heads to the Nutmeg state to visit one of the historic tracks that Modifieds in the Northeast run on a weekly basis as we as various Modified Tours. Stafford, CT, home of the Stafford Motor Speedway, a 1/2 mile oval have 7 to 8.5 degree turns, will be hosting the Harley Davidson 150. 34 drivers can take the green flag, while 32 will have to qualify to make the starting grid. Pits gates will open 8 PM EDT. Previous winners of this race: 2013 - #5 David Day, Lafayette, OR 2015 - #8 Isaac Gann, Cambridge, OH. Afterwards, the Heineken Mini Stocks will be in New York for their event at the 1/2 mile Taylor Swift Superdome. Pit Gates will open at the conclusion of the TNT Whelen Modified event.
 
 
 
 
After taking the week off, it is time to get back to racing. The Tour heads north to the Granite State to the Canaan Fair Speedway in Canaan, NH for the running of the VRMS 150. A third mile oval having 15 degree turns. 25 drivers can take the green flag, 23 will have to qualify. Pit gates open at 8 PM EDT. Previous winners: 2013 - #37 Matt Smith, Wasaga Beach, ON, 2015 - #12 Jim Windrow, Concord, VT. Later that evening, the Heineken Mini Stocks will be having their event at the Raleigh Banked Dirt Figure 8 for their 40 lap event immediately after the TNT Whelen Modified race.

May 20, 2016 - Martinsville, VA - This week the Tour stays south heading to the paper clip for the Made in America 150. Forty-two modified drivers could start this event with 40 having to qualify into the event. Pit gates to the 1/2 mile oval, having 12 degree banked turns, known as Martinsville Speedway, will open at 8 PM EDT. Previous winners of this event: 2013 - #12 Jim Windrow, Concord, VT, 2014 - #5 David Day, Lafayette, OR, 2015 - #021, Derek Justis, Elizabethtown, KY. Afterwards, the Heineken Mini Stocks will run their event at the banked version, 1/2 mile Martinsville Speedway at approximately 10 PM EDT. Next Friday, May 27, both series will have the night off and will return to action June 3rd.

May 13, 2016 - Rockingham, NC - This week the Tour heads south to the Rock in North Carolina to run the Rocking 99. Forty-two modified drivers could start this event with 40 having to qualify into the event. Pit gates to the 1.017 mile D shaped oval, having 22 degree banked turns, known as Rockingham Speedway. Pit gates will open at 8 PM EDT. Previous winners of this event: 2012 - #55 Joe Doucette, Framingham, MA, 2013 - #77 Ryan Doucette, Framingham, MA,  2015 - #12 Jim Windrow, Concord, VT.  Afterwards, the Garden State Mini Stocks will run their 2nd event at the Demo Derby Raceway, 5/8 mile facility in Helena, Montana at approximately10 PM EDT.
